Ruth Anna
Other names for Ruth were Anna Ruth VERDUIJN and Ruth Anna VERDUIJN. Notes:So far, no records have been found for the wife of Josef Librecht Verduijn. It is known that her name was either Ruth, Anna or Ruth Anna. Both names are mentioned in Venn's book in connection with Josef Librecht's wife and significantly, both names also feature in subsequent generations of her family. Ruth Anna is said to have come from Koetsien, the former Dutch orphanage in Cochin, and it is surmised that either she or her mother was of mixed Dutch and native, south Indian birth. 1 2 Ruth married Josef Librecht VERDUIJN, son of Hendrik Jacob VERDUIJN and Anna Elisabeth PHILIPZ, circa 1810 in <Cochin (Kochi), Kerala, India>. (Josef Librecht VERDUIJN was born on 4 Dec 1785 in Cochin (Kochi), Kerala, India 3 4 and died in 1837 in Cochin (Kochi), Kerala, India 5.) |
