Notes:

John Boddington was born in Carlton in 1894. He is known to have been twice married. His first marriage was to Alice BASS in Pertenhall in June 1714. She bore him eight children and died in March 1747. He then took a second wife at the age of 60, marrying Sence WALKER. They had one child, Simon. John died at the age of 72 in 1766.
