Isabella INGRAM

  • Born: 7 Sep 1821, Prittlewell, Southend-On-Sea, Essex, England 1 2
  • Christened: 21 Oct 1821, Southchurch, Essex, England

Notes:

Isabella was the "natural" or illegitimae daughter of Isabella INGRAM née Page. The birth was sworn under oath before Magistrates and Overseers of the Parish according to the Poor Law Bastardy Orders. The biological father was proved to be Thomas INGRAM, (Robert's elder brother) who was said to be "between marriages". Thomas was served with a Bastardy Order in Sepember 1821 and a Warrant was issued requiring the him to indemnify the Parish from all child maintenance costs.

It is thought that Isabella might not have survived infancy. 3
