Ebenezer Edwin was actively involved in the
setting up of the "Cobbler's Shop" in 1913. This project, sponsored by
Northamptom Museum, was devoted to the various activities, skills and crafts of
the shoe-making trade in Victorian times. Today the Cobbler's Shop features
prominently among the museum's historical collections. A photograph of the
Cobblers Shop circa 1913 is reproduced in the family Photo Album, courtesy of
Lynda Boddington.
