Ellen CAHILL
Notes:Ellen CAHILL was born about 1847 in India. She was sixteen years old when she married James BULLOCK in St. Stephen's Church in Palavaram, near Madras. Her father is listed in the register as James CAHILL, a serving officer in the Pegu Sapper Battalion, MNI. There are no details of her mother. She is said to have died tragically in a kitchen fire accident at the family home in Cannanore some time between 1875 and 1877. So far however, no details confirming her death have been found in the Eclesiastical Returns for the Madras Presidency. Ellen married James BULLOCK, son of Thomas William BULLOCK and Anna VERDUIJN, on 21 Apr 1863 in Palavaram, Tamil Nadu, India.1 (James BULLOCK was born on 5 Sep 1834 in Cuddalore, Tamil Nadu, India, christened on 21 Oct 1834 in Cuddalore, Tamil Nadu, India,2 died on 10 Feb 1896 in Bangalore (Bengaluru), Karnataka, India 3 and was buried on 12 Feb 1896 in St. John's Cemetery, (Kalpalli) Bangalore, (Bengaluru), Karnataka, India 4.) |
